Hi-- it is frustrating when the mootools upgrade breaks your site. The issue is that Joomla stuck with Mootools 1.1 for so long that template/module/etc. developers were forced to build their products using the older scripts.

IPreserve uses some more advanced calendar systems and ajax functionality that would be far more difficult to create in mootools 1.1-- and we decided that since Joomla has finally upgraded all Mootools going forward, we were not going to build separate versions of ipreserve scripts to support an obsolete library.

It is possible that it will be quite easy to fix this issue with the upgrade plugin-- it's likely your template or a plugin/module that's using the older mootools library. If you'd like, leave your site "broken" for a bit and I'll take a look and see if I can tell. Alternately-- you can apply a default template and see if the tempalte is the issue.

Site is now left broken so that you can see what I mean.

Yeah there's a ton of errors, and it looks like they're coming from the template. You may want to check with the template dev and ask if they've updated the template to work with the mt upgrade active.

I kind of thought so,, well I also noticed that I need to buy another year of Iproperty upgrades as well since my latest version is 1.5.5 and the required upgrade for IPreserve extensions is 1.5.6. So I think I will wait for the new joomla 2.5 version before acting since that will mean many changes. Many thanks for super assistance as usual.
