tim created the topic: Announcing IProperty Simple Availability System (SAS)
We're happy to announce that we are making public (and FREE!) our new Simple Availability Service (SAS) for IProperty Joomla.
SAS is meant to provide a quick and easy way for you to provide basic vacation rental by owner (VRBO) functionality to your IProperty website. Using SAS, any authorized property editor (super agent, agent, site admin) can, from the front end or the admin panel property edit view, set dates to be Free, Tentatively booked or Booked simply by clicking on a calendar date.
In this way you can easily show site viewers what dates are currently available for a given property to make it easy for them to plan their getaway.
Clone or download the git repository. Navigate into the plugin directories (plg_ip_sasadmin and plg_ip_saslisting) and zip ALL the files in the directory. You should end up with two zip archives-- one for each plugin.
Then just upload the resulting zip archives and install them using the Joomla Extensions Manager, and follow the README docs that explain how to configure.
Please let us know what you think-- but bear in mind this is a FREE, SIMPLE availability system-- this is not meant to have all the functionality of a system like IPreserve.
