Plotec-Werbung created the topic: When to expect custom fields?
we discussed this for months per email and I just want to know what's the status of it. The pressure for using more and more customized fields is growing. For now I built it into the several php files but we need a simple and quick solution to add more fields to make our clients happy.
I really don't want to hack into the code especially it is a time consumption work to maintain the hacks on every update release.
Can we expect custom fields this year or wont it come at all?

I second that one.
I also had to hack and use existing field not used by my client like using the field "zoning" and change the language string for "furnished". Not too much of a big deal one could say. But still, it would be easier and better in terms of "maintenance" to have that built in as custom field done via the admin panel.
Additionally, it would be event better if a custom field could accommodate multiple values to generate a drop down select box for that custom custom.
