Plotec-Werbung created the topic: Further development of the DPE plugin
As we will get new law's for energie consumption in Europe it's necessary to overhaul the DPE plugin. From the 13.6.2014 all real estate agents/agencies are obliged to show all energetic values of a property to the customers.
As a workaround, I hacked 3 new fields for this into the code. But this should really be a workaround til a better solution is there. As you mentioned in another thread regarding the DPE plugin, it's the better and cleaner way to do this with the plugin.
Here are the fields that are needed by the new law:
electricity value = Stromwert
heat value = Wärmewert
value class = Wertklasse
year built = Baujahr
date of issue = Ausstelldatum
year = Jahrgang | values are: before 2014, 2014 and after, none
type of building = Gebäudeart
type of pass = Passart
valid until = Gültig bis | value is a date
energy consumption characteristic value = Energieverbrauchskennwert
final energy demand = Endenergiebedarf
with warm water = mit Warmwasser | values are: false and true
The german terms are the official ones, I don't know if all, especially the energy specific words are translated correctly as they are offically used in english. I guess some of this values are already used in the plugin.
Please have a short answer to this post because it is really important to know if you improve your plugin or not.

which kind of documentation do you need? The law text from the European Parliament or some example implementation?
As I mentioned several times earlier, we have a standard for the used values on saving and exchange real estate data, it's called Openimmo XML.
Here is the link to their site and to the example implementation for the enrgy stuff. Also you can download the xml implementation with all the documentation after registering. I attached this documentation to this post. It's also useful for an export of iproperty data to Openimmo XML. The basic energy stuff is implemented in this docs. The advanced stuff from 2014 will be implemented in version 1.27.
The title of the law is ENEV 2014, it means Energy Saving Ordinance.
I also attached the law text as PDF. The title is 2013 but it's the version which will be valid at 13.6.2014. Unfortunately it's in german.
P.S I can't attach it because it's bigger than allowed.
