WebsiteWI created the topic: Sets Agents / Companies to Specific IP Categories
I would like to see a way to set an agent and / or real estate company to a specific IP category so only they can post to it. This would be a key feature for me to sell subscriptions to other Realtors.
WebsiteWI replied the topic: Sets Agents / Companies to Specific IP Categories
I have a website that covers a whole state which I only work in the central region of it leaving all the other regions un-utilized. I have the state broken up by counties then by property type; Homes, Land, Condos, Multi-Family, Commercial Property which is about 350 IP categories in total. (THIS all has to due with SEO and keeping our Market territories which we now compete heavily with Realtor.com, Zillow.com & Trulia.com who tries to sells these areas back to us.) And if the software can limit an agent or category to a specific IP category I could sell subscriptions to the categories I'm not utilizing for my company. This will do 3 key things: #1 help raise extra funds for my company, 2# keep the site more up to date, and #3 have more inventory for the website overall; more pages equals more web traffic which might help me sell more properties in the area I work in!
The reason I want to limit agents to specific categories is I don't want another agent posting in my areas and if I sell subscriptions they probably won't other agents posting in their areas.
I currently have some agents asking if they can post properties on the site so I'm trying to figure out the best way plus keep it fair for all parties.
I hope I explained it a little better.
And if I really set it up the way I want too I would setup some type of auctions software, have a flat setup fee and allow agents bid on what the categories are worth to them. Some counties only have a couple thousands residents where others have millions. I would let the free market set the subscription rates for each area.
