Since we often get the same few questions by email and in the forum, I thought I'd post an FAQ-style note here so we can hopefully get some of the more common questions taken care of!

Q) I need front-end editing and upload capabilities-- does IProperty handle this?
A) YES! IProperty 2.0 and higher has front end editing and upload capabilities.

Q) Can I import XML / RETS / MLS data into IProperty?
A) YES! We do this all the time, for all kinds of customers. If you're a skilled programmer / scripter, it's something we may be able to help you figure out. If you'd like us to handle the data import for you, we'll be glad to provide a quote to do the job!

Q) How can I manage access / allow people to purchase subscriptions to my IProperty site?
A) Rather than re-invent the wheel and create payment and subscription management functions in our product, we have decided to partner with established Joomla subscription management tools, including Akeeba Subscriptions and AEC through plugins. Using these products you can manage all payments and subscriptions, and control access to IProperty.

Q) Can I develop my own additions to IProperty?
A) If you are a skilled programmer, absolutely. However, please don't ask us "Can you tell me how to write a feature that will do X?" We are very pressed for time already, and cannot provide instructions.

PLEASE NOTE!! Customized versions of IP CANNOT AND WILL NOT be supported by us, and you may well break your upgrade path.

Q) I need IProperty to do X, Y, and Z. However, it doesn't look like it can. Can you make it do X, Y, and Z?
A) Possibly. Please post feature requests to the Feature Request area of these forums. If enough interest is shown, we may add your request to our dev queue. If not, you may be able to get us to do a custom job for you.

Q) Can I get a volume discount for multiple IProperty sites?

Q) Can I install IProperty on a development server and my live site?
A) Yes. We have no problem with this usage. However, please do not deploy IProperty on more than one live site.
