Miranda_G created the topic: Questions before I buy
I have just a couple questions.
Am I able to upload properties that have multiple amounts of bedrooms, and still have them show up in the property search as separate properties? For example, if I had property, we'll call it "Property X", and within Property X, there are different unit options; one with 2 bedrooms, one with 3 bedrooms, and so on. Would I have to load in these units separately or would I be able to load in just Property X? And if I just load Property X as a whole, would it still be searchable by number of bedrooms of each unit?
Normally you'd do one of two things-- if it's a normal "multifamily" house you could create a multifamily property category, and then you'd set (for example) "4 total units, 8 bedrooms total" since the sale is for the whole structure, not just one unit.
On the other hand if you're selling condos / townhomes, you'd probably want to list them all as separate listings-- so if you had ten condos, there would be ten listings, each with individual beds / baths / sqft etc. that would be searchable independently.
IProperty has a "clone" function so you can quickly duplicate listings like this to minimize data entry.
