Hi - this happens sometimes depending on your site configuration, SEF urls, and template. To fix, you should be able to add a hidden 'layout' input to the front-end forms. For example if you get this error when adding logs, you would add:
To your 'com_projectlog/views/project/tmpl/form.php' file. If it's happening when adding any data from the front-end, you can add the same hidden input to all forms. Hope this helps. Let us know. Thanks!
That worked for the Add Log and Add Doc forms in the front end by just adding it to the bottom of the inputs.
I had a little trouble getting it to work for the Add Project form. I put it in /com_projectlog/views/cat/tmpl/form.php but it didn't work until I moved it above the ItemId and category inputs. (It took me a while to think of even trying that - I'm not much of a programmer.)
Again, thanks for the help and thanks for Project Log.
