Hi to all.

I just have downloaded PL and using on my website, but I just wanted to know what kind of documents I can upload Docs panel admin and if I can link them to my projects.

Hi - you can set the allowed document types in your PL configuration. Enter them as a comma separated list 'pdf,doc,etc etc'. Make sure you SAVE the configuration.

Yes, you can upload the documents and attach them to projects. If you're using the admin document uploader, just select a project from the drop down in the document upload form. To add documents to the front end projects, view the project while logged in as a user with permission to edit. You will see the 'add log' and 'add document' links above the project details display. Hope this helps.
