Help is appreciated..

We are making the switch from basecamp to hopefully your product.  I have successfully got it working and have uploaded projects and documents. 

Question: when i as the administrator put up a new log is everyone in the project notified of the log so that they can respond?  In other words are they emailed the log and then given a link to respond like email pipelining or at least an email to have them login and respond?  Also when they respond is everyone else in the group notified? 

If this is not implemented can you do it? I really need this as we do website deisgn and this is our means to keep communicating with our customers throughout the setup process.

Please answer as soon as possible as this is very important for us..

Hi - there is a setting in the Project Log configuration to be notified when a log is entered, but only the administrator receives notification - not everyone in the group. This modification could probably be done fairly easily but is not implemented at this time. We offer customization services if you're not comfortable tackling this yourself. Thanks!

How would we tackle it ourself?  We would want everyone in the group to be notified when there is a change made regardless of their user level, but only those in the group.

Do you have advise on how we could do this?  I am sure we are not the only ones needing this as it makes the project complete for anyone doing website design collaboration with clients.

To explain how to do this would be too difficult, but you would need to modify the project model's 'saveLog' method where it calls to 'notifyAdmin'. Instead of just notifying the admin, you would have to get all the group users from the db and mail to them as well. We may add this feature to a future release, but have no scheduled date for a new version -- since this is a free and open source component, if you end up making this modification and would like to contribute, please do so. Thanks.

Please PM me what it would cost for you to add this?  Also what it will do once you are finished customization.
