Seriously need help! I created a menu item once my user is logged in to go to projects. Selected the Category Layout from the Project Log section for the page layout. When I go to the front-end, I login, click "Projects" menu item and I get a "The webpage cannot be found"...url it is going to is thewkgroup.net/index.php/projects ...I didn't create this or change the default URL it created when making the menu item, so what is it doing?

1) how do I get a my project page to appear?
2) how do I create a custom form for the FRONT-END that connects to the project log fields??

All projects will be entered/edited from front-end ONLY - so I need to be able to create a form for the entry of projects and create a custom view for the projects for the other users to view

is there a certain formplug-in extention that works best with Project Log?

I am a newbie to this so PLEASE answer in laymen terms!

Hi - did you get this resolved? The menu item issue sounds like it has to do with your sef url configuration. If you disable your sef urls does it work? I'm assuming in your menu item you've selected the category of projects to display from the menu item parameters?

As far as creating a custom form to add information to Project Log fields - there is already a front-end project add/edit form built into the component. A user just needs to have proper permissions to be able to manage projects - these can be set in the Project Log configuration 'Add/Edit Projects' parameter. If the user has proper permissions they will see a link on the front-end to add a project. If you haven't already, please read the walk-through which explains the workflow in a little more detail. Let us know questions. Thanks.
