Add your extra options in this file
etc.
Thank you
s.knuckles for this hack. I, really appreciate your help.
So far, I’ve found a little mistake in your post. This take me another 3 hrs

Maybe someone 'll decide to reproduce your hack,
so I want to share it with my changes for this case. Here is my exp.:
Step 1. Provide this code in CSS file
…root…/components/com_projectlog/assets/css/projectlog.css :
- you can change it to any color you like, but remember it for administrators section ajustment
(#that's why !important)
Step 2. Change code as shown below:
…root…/components/com_projectlog/models/cat.php :
Step 3. Forward the same as above code at line appr. 218 in:
…root…/administrator/components/com_projectlog/models/cat.php
Step 4. Assign colors to status stages in:
…root…/administrator/components/com_projectlog/views/projects/views/projects/tmpl/default.php
- pay attention: I've changed all colors here as I like
Step 5. Ajust the same .class colors as on first step in:
…root…/administrator/components/com_projectlog/views/projects/view.html.php
Step 6. Add this item to "the-new-project-form dropdown-list" in:
…root…/components/com_projectlog/helpers/html.helper.php
Step 7. In language files of both ends – write:
…root…/administrator/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_projectlog.ini
...root…/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_projectlog.ini
-don't forget to change
en-GB to match your language
That’s all!
Now you can change project status by pressing continuously your colored status text in both ends. And there is additional status in drop-down-list of the creation form appears.
You can place unlimited number of the NEXT STATUS stages, you know, but -
TAKE CARE of color assigning to get equal colors for both ends.
Have a nice day! And let all ours projects would be COMPLETE
