Sorry Vinny I get ahead of myself it is the 'status' field where you choose 'in progress', 'on hold' or 'completed'
I wanted to change the choices to 'material ordered', 'in progress' and 'on hold' with maybee a diferent choice of colours?
Ok, thanks for the explanation and screenshot. Unfortunately, since ProjectLog uses the JHTML option to create the drop down options, there's no option to add a css class to individual options in order to add custom sytyles for each option; even if there were a class for each, not all browsers support this (especially buggy in IE of course!).
To change the background of the entire select box, you could just add the following to your template or projectlog.css:
Also, to change 'Complete' to 'Material Ordered' you can make this modification to the language files. See more here.
1. 'com_projectlog/helpers/html.helper.php' file 'statusSelect()' function
2. 'com_projectlog/models/cat.php' and 'admin/com_projectlog/models/projects.php' files 'changeStatus()' function
3. 'com_projectlog/views/cat/tmpl/default.php' and 'admin/com_projectlog/views/projects/tmpl/default.php' files (search for status switch)
You'll just need to add your new status to the changeStatus() functions in the models and switch cases in the views - the html.helper.php file function just creates the drop down selection so add your new option there as well. Hope this helps.
