Hi - when a user has permission to create new projects, there will be a 'New' button in the front end project list view. First, go into your admin panel->Project Log and click on the 'Options' toolbar button. In the permissions tab, set the desired permissions to allow certain user groups to add/edit/delete projects, logs, documents, etc and make sure to SAVE the configuration.

Now, when a user is logged into the front end and belongs to a group that has permission to create a project, they should see the button to create new projects. Let us know questions. Thanks!

NOTE: Permissions can also be set at a more granular level (category, project). When editing a ProjectLog category or project via the admin panel, you will see a permissions tab where you can fine-tune permissions per category/project.

Hi - yes, it is possible to upload documents via the front end. If you're not seeing the option to upload a document when viewing a project on the frontend (see attached), then your permissions may not be correct. Make sure your user has permission to upload documents in the global ProjectLog settings (as you did before). If this looks correct, check the project category and project permissions as well to make sure the permissions aren't different than the global settings. Please let us know questions. Thanks!
