Changes by employees frontend

Hello everyone,
browsing the forum I looked for a similar topic but I did not get lucky so far..
I have configured the project log acl so my users with "employees" access can see all the projects, add logs, docs etc... (they basically have super user rights for this tool)
The problem is the following: some rights work some others don't, or partially.
For example:
1. When inside a category, if an employee clicks the add project icon, it reroutes him to the category list and nothing happens, but if they click the menu item of mainmenu to create a new project, it works... I don't get why the icon wouldn't just do that too.
2. If an employee clicks on "edit" no matter what level in the component on front-end he is, he gets rerouted again to the category list and can't change the status to closed when the project is over. SuperUser can...
3. Whoever creates a project (superuser or not) they cannot choose who will be manager and receive notifications by email. Some of my employees create projects and must select who their manager is, and they cannot, I wondered if it was normal since when click on edit -> manager a window opens with the users of the joomla platform.

Thanks a lot!
