Hi all.

I believe my problem may be similar to jjohnson's in this post, but the projects entered from the admin area do not show on the front end even logging in as superadmin.

Posting projects on the front end works, but my template screws out the layout.  Instead of dealing with this I figured I'd simply post projects from the site admin area, but this does not work.

I love the component, and I'm hoping to get this resolved.  Has anyone dealt with this issue before?
Many thanks in advance for any advice.

I'm having the same problem. Projects created on the backend do not show up in the front end. Projects created in the front end show up for a while then disappear. Anyone else have/resolve this issue?

I just downloaded this component. I have having the same issue. I spent like 2 hours creating projects just to discover they are not showing on the front-end. What am i doing wrong?

I did everything in the walk-through, everything that needs to be published is but i can't see where the problem is.

I configured the log,
I created the menus,
I created the categories then attached them to the menus,
I assigned groups,
I added projects,
I gave author access to the log,
I set the menu's for 'special' access only,
I set my people that need access to be authors on site,...

I can't think of what else is going wrong.

Just tested the front-end and i can created projects from there but the ones i've created in the admin back-end, do not show up at all.

Please help us having this issue. I've spent too long setting this up just to get dissappointed. Seems like a really nice component.

Ok, i think i've figured it out. To those of you who can't seem to get the projects to display on the front-end that you 'created' in the admin back-end...

Go to the admin area of Projects Log where it shows all the "Projects", where it has the 'status', 'approved' and 'published' columns.

The project(s) need to have the green check mark in the 'approved' column for them to show in the front-end.

So when you create your project in the back-end, and you want your project to show immediately after saving, make sure you click the 'Approved' radio button under the Project Details (bottom right corner).

I think if the projects are being created in the back-end, obviously by an Admin, then the 'Approved' option should be activated by default just like the 'Published' option is.

This should also be communicated in the 'walk-through' instructions.

Nope. Does not matter. NO projects created in the admin show on the front end.

@grumblemarc - can you start a new thread explaining what you're experiencing so we can try to help. Thanks.
