Bruno_Brazil created the topic: Workforce and Falang ?
Hi all,

I have to create a website witha n employee directory, and Workforce definitely looks like THE solution for my needs. BUT... the site is bilingual (french / english)... I have implemented this feature through Falang, it works fine. But, will workforce work well with Falang ? Will I be able to create french and english versions of the employee data ? If not, is there a way to make it work (I am a PHP developer, but I'm not into Joomla development) ?

Thanks,

Bruno

Hi - thanks for your interest. We have recently finished some falang content elements for WF to allow multilingual WF content. There may be some additional tweaks needed to be fully compatible since they haven't been tested much, but should work the same as our WF Joomfish elements for WF1.5. Let us know questions. Thanks.

Hi,

Great news !

This is for WF 2.0 ? (my website is on J2.5) If yes, I'm willing to help testing it, to get it working better (once I buy my subscription, of course).

BTW, are module and plugins going to be available soon for WF 2.0 ? I'll probably need the module at least... So I hope so !!

Thanks again,

Bruno

Hi Bruno - thanks for the offer to help test, we appreciate it! Yes, the falang elements are for J2.5 and WF2.0+. Regarding modules and plugins - these are all included in the WF2.0+ package and install with the component. This includes:

mod_wf_department
plg_wf_blurb
plg_wf_captcha
plg_wf_falang (needs to be installed via the falang installer)
plg_wf_qrcode
plg_wf_searchbot
plg_wf_mobile

Thanks.
