How can I have my Work Force list show up in alphabetical order without any search feature?

Hi - you can disable the search filters in your WF configuration (admin panel WF departments->Options toolbar button). To set the default order, you can edit the appropriate model and change the default filter_order. For example -- if you want to set the default order by last name in the 'all employees' view, you would edit the 'com_workforce/models/allemployees.php' model file and change:

$orderCol = $app->input->get('filter_order', 'e.ordering');

$orderCol = $app->input->get('filter_order', 'e.lname');

Hope it helps.
