I know this is in the wrong forum, however, I was not able to post or reply in the feature request forum. Please feel free to move this to the correct category.

Anyways, I would like to know if it would be possible to add an option to not display the read more button for the module?

The purpose of this would be to include and move past employees or those that have helped us to another category. An example can be found in the url below. I want to give credit to those that help us along the way, yet not have or display the read more button. We can still allow the name or images to be clicked on, but it can help clean things up a bit for companies like mine that do accept help and want to give credit.

Thank you very much,

Hi Sarrene - thanks for pointing this out! There is actually already a check for the 'read more' parameter in the tmpl code, but we never added the parameter to the module xml in order to change the setting in the module edit form! :woohoo:

I've added this for the next release of the module already, but here's what you can do. Open your 'modules/mod_wf_department/mod_wf_department.xml' and add a new field as follows:

<field name="show_readmore" type="radio" class="btn-group" default="1" label="Show Read More" description="Show the read more link">
  <option value="0">JNO</option>
  <option value="1">JYES</option>
</field>

Now when you edit the module via the admin module manager, you'll see the 'read more' option in the module parameters so you can enabled/disabled the button. Thanks again for pointing it out and I hope it helps!

Ah hah! That was what i was missing! The field name I could not get down or find anywhere. That is brilliant! Thank you so much! You are great! I appreciate it so much.

How does this look?
triadgames.com/about/dev-team All thanks to you of course! Though I did adjust some of the font a wee bit.

On a side note, how difficult would it be to add multiple departments to the module? This is not something I need, though I can see others wanting something similar so they can group different sub departments together.

Hi Sarrene - glad it helped! :woohoo: Your site is looking great! Regarding the multiple departments in the module - I'll add this to our enhancements list; I'm not sure it will make it in the next release, but we'll look into it. Thanks!

That sounds great! And thank you. Any suggestions for our site by chance? Design, layout, etc?

Well, the design and layout stuff comes down to personal preferences. I know dark templates are usually pretty tough to work with in general, so I'd say you're doing great!

I notice you're using different size images in the modules for the past contributors and other departments, my one recommendation would be to set the employee image width option in the WF config to be a larger size to avoid pixelation on the larger module images.

To do this, go into your admin WF employees view and click the 'options' toolbar button. Set the employee photo width to a larger size and then when you upload new photos they will be re-sized to that width and will be more clear when you display them in the modules. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
