One major problem with your template is that they are using a non-standard Bootstrap version. They are using 3.3.2, while Joomla does not support Bootstrap 3.3. Joomla ships with Bootstrap 3.2.3, which is what our products are built to use.

One of the common issues is that you did not check the WF options. Go to the WF main page in the Joomla admin, and select the Options button at the top right. Select 2 (or 3, 4, etc) for the # of columns, and SAVE it. If you don't save it, it doesn't get set.

Hi-- generally the best thing to do is to create Joomla override. This feature was added to Joomla a few versions back to allow designers to tweak the layout of components / content if they want to display things differently.

Since everyone has their own aesthetic ideas and tastes, this is the way you can still leverage the WorkForce component but make the small changes that would make you happier with the way it looks without having to re-invent it, or buy another component that may still not be what you want visually.

Here's more on output overrides: docs.joomla.org/Understanding_Output_Overrides
You'd want to create an override for the components/com_workforce/views/allemployees/tmpl/default_employee.php and just move the image into a div on the left (or right or wherever) as you see fit.

Thanks
